The value for the private sector is in the on-selling aggregated data for marketing purposes to clients who, for example, may want to know who recently moved house or bought into a particular area. (hell no that is private information and people wouldn't want their information given out to canvasses who phone you at night - we already have cut off our private phones because we are sick of getting called at night)
Dont on sell our private information - get on with doing your trimming of your own departments and all the surplus people that are currently in Government pushing papers around making up new laws and regulations to keep themselves busy.
People you better follow this conversation and put pressure on the Government, this should remain as it is and the information should remain confidential.
