The mid-year update of finances is expected to show a blowout in net debit of about half a billion dollars to more than 38 billion caused by the rejection of the proposed gold royalty hike.
But there is also tipped to be a recovery in key revenue sources such as iron ore royalties and payroll tax (which should be abolished you greedy bastards there is no incentive in this country for small business to grow and employ more staff is there?) as WA's economy shows signs of turning the corner !!! (Really just learn how to spend you guys effectively)
Almost 60 percent of respondents of opposed new taxes and felt the Government should instead focus on cutting costs. (hmph does it really matter what we want they do what they want all day every day - not keeping election promises is a given isnt it?)
WA's government spending levels were the highest in the nation at $11,484 per person compared with $9978 in Victoria and $9758 in NSW.
Government spending is now at a record high of $24 billion - 10 percent higher than at the peak of the mining resources boom - (as I say there is so much fat its time to trim and trim the fat cats at the top).
Clearly the Government doesn't have a revenue problem, they have a spending problem. The only door they should be knocking on to fix it is their own (hooray someone prepared to say it how it is).
