 Have you got a property that you were doing an air bnb and have now rented it out during the COVID period.

People have been forced to stay home as they are not allowed to travel overseas and the air bnb business is now becoming popular again as more people are travelling within their own state.  It's something to reconsider doing as your lease comes to the end of it's term.

I have used EBM Rent Cover for all my properties and I believe that they were one of the first companies to offer landlords insurance to the short stay accommodation people.

You will have to explore though if you qualify as if you are letting out your own home / being then a host - this may not cover you within that policy.

If your tenant is renting out a room air bnb this will also void your insurance contract.

People that buy an actual investment property to do air bnb are definitely covered.  This has become very popular for people to buy and manage themselves as a form of income but be aware that not all complexes allow you to do that short term rentals either.

There is quite a lot to look into but it can be a very nice little income stream for the investor especially if you are managing it yourself.

Yes you should be looking at places to do this with if you are "thinking" about putting your toe in the water.
