Interesting that the main roads department are still pursuing the road widening now down Stirling Highway. One would have thought that the planners would look at school holidays and see how easy that highway flows most days except from 7.30 am cleared by 9 am,
2.45 am until about 4pm. Then you get the traffic coming from the city anywhere from 4.30 pm but cleared again at 6 pm and that seems to flow really well at that time if the traffic lights would just stay in sync with each other.
Firm believer if the bus pods were put in spasmodically down the highway and all school children could be dropped off and picked up by school buses that would elevate most of the problems.
Better still they could go underground for all city traffic - ah yes but that costs a lot of money...but haven't we spent zillions on Perth already, about time the Government spent it on the Western Suburbs then.
Funny though isn't it its only the sandgropers that really complain about the traffic the Eastern States people say how lucky we are, guess we are just not use to lining up with our cars.
Guess we are just plain spoilt !!
