SPARE A THOUGHT FOR OTHERS

Conversations around the Christmas time always brings up families, old friends, friends that are no longer friends for whatever reason.

A good friend of mine commented that a lot of people get very depressed around the Christmas time as it dredges up all old feelings (of course she cannot be explicit as they are clients) and herself and her husband are ridiculously busy just before Christmas. My friend's husband does free consultations on Christmas Eve - an amazing person and if he can just help one person from committing suicide he has succeeded.  Spare a thought for those that might not be in such a good place - have you rung them lately?

As the week unfolded you can see that people are stressed out, pushed for time, working up till the last day, whoever is organising the lunch/dinner for Christmas has a list a mile long as they have to do up the table and make sure everything is done.  (yes sure everyone brings things but the set up takes awhile doesn't it)....

There should be a lot less of it all and just have a meal with friends and family and enjoy some quality time together.  Giving doesn't necessarily mean presents, I think people have just got too adjusted to being pushed into the commercial side of Christmas.

Presents are for the small children who still happen to believe in Santy and not a dozen presents either.  Up until children up about 6, two or three small gifts are all that they are really interested in unwrapping you know what they are in to so when they get to that present all wrapping stops, it's unbelievable how you see a mound of presents under the tree and mainly for one child.  Just take the time and think of others who don't even have one present to give to their kids.  Most people that have older children don't really need anything but your company and some laughter, seriously give us some of your time that's really what people really lack throughout the year as everyone is so busy!!

We had a lovely Christmas spending it with friends and family and having some good laughs that's what's really important.

MAKE YOUR OWN DECISION AND GIVE IT A REAL GO !!
