Its with a real heavy heart that I write about all those families that have been affected by the bush fires over the last week. 81 homes have been lost and families have been devastated by their losses. Let alone all the animals that have been severely burnt and a lot of them have had to be put down so terribly sad.
I suppose you have to grateful that there has been no loss of human life atleast but the despair and feeling of helplessness you cannot imagine unless you have gone throught it.
If you are feeling like you can help out and donate to the Lord Mayor's Distress Relief Fund please do that and give them a helping hand.
Hopefully with the weather changing a bit the fire fighters might find some relief at least.
