OLD TIMERS

This morning whilst walking Chester there were a group of men standing together watching the surf and making comments about their surfing days and how good it was etc.

With all the young ones in the water surfing (was reasonable waves too) it must be hard when the time comes that you cannot surf in the water anymore for whatever reasons.

What I thought was lovely though was the gathering of the men chewing the fat about the "good old days" ha ha... takes me back to when I use to sit on the beach and watch our boyfriends surfing.

We are so very fortunate to have such an outstanding beach that we can do all sorts of sports on and although there is some hype about "sharks" we have not had an attack for a very long time and I think I would be more concerned if I lived down South where they are following the salmon.

Remembering we are entering the home of the Sharks good or bad I am not sure but unless that water is clear I am not dipping my toes in and that's a given.
