An increase in the emergency services levy will fund a new Rural Fire Service, the State Government says.
The $80 million service a subdivision of the Department of Fire and Emergency Services, came as part of the Government's response to the Ferguson Review of the devastating Waroona-Yarloop bush fires in 2016.
Metropolitan residents will be hit with a $28 annual increase in the levy, while region residents will see increases of between $8 and $17 to pay for the reforms.
There is always an excuse of why they need to heist up our levies, they shouldn't really have it on there anyway as the insurance companies use to charge it....anyway cannot stop them really can we its never ending.
