THAT ANNOYING DRIP DRIP OF THE DOWN PIPE

Seriously cant down pipes be designed better so they dont do the drip drip drip thing.

 There is nothing more annoying than lying in bed and listening to that annoying sound.

 Its the drip that hits the bend as the down pipe bends to go to the soak well.  I know its been going on for years but I suppose as I get older perhaps my sleep is getting lighter and its more noticeable to me.
