WHATS HAPPENING TODAY IN THE MARKET PLACE

Housing affordability and supply constraints are being felt across the country, but the challenges in WA are unique.

Western Australians are doing it tough in one of the tightest rental markets we’ve ever seen. WA’s vacancy rate has remained below 1 per cent for much of the past year, putting extreme pressure on rental affordability and availability.

Boosting housing supply is the only long-term solution. We need federal support and funding to unlock land, accelerate approvals and support the skilled trades that build homes. Including more support for first home buyers.

The amount of stock (homes for sale) particularly is very low and although that is a little normal here in WA as people decide that springtime is when they want to sell, however that's when properties are in competition with one another. My suggestion is always if your house doesn't leak and presents well (you can buy colour for the garden) then go in winter when you are not competing with a lot of other homes.

You cannot fault WA's weather right now its absolutely stunning.

MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS AND GIVE IT A REAL GO!!
