Having just read an article about that the Government wants us to be all using electric appliances as our gas ones need replacing I was quite shocked to be honest as gas has been a huge part of my life for cooking, hot water systems, gas heaters (now got air conditioning) but it really came to be as a jolt out of the blue where I have I had my head in the sand?
Is gas that bad for the environment and if it is why are we still selling all the appliances why isnt their a ban on them from now?
I just find that we dont get enough notice on everything and the reasons why so we can make informed decisions ourselves.
I feel a bit panicky to be honest as it really just hit me that my whole world as I have known it will have to change.
What about electricity charges then? With having all electric appliances, you really are held to ransom arnt you? I am definitely all for saving the planet and trying to make a difference for climate change but it amazes me just how much I do not know about it all and if it's so bad they actually need to say NO more gas appliances will be sold.
