DOWN SOUTH

 From all reports from the public and the agents down south has gone absolutely nuts!!

There is no land left and its hard to get onto any houses for sale they are going sometimes even before the home opens people are buying them sight unseen.  Lots of overseas buyers (WA people) are contributing to a lot of it also.

Rentals down south are non existent apparently and people have had to go and buy themselves campervans to live in as they work down south but cannot get rentals.  Locals are getting pushed out because everyone is turning their rentals back into short term stays again.  This was going to always happen unfortuntely it was just a matter of time.

Rentals will increase as of the end of March 2021 as the COVID restrictions are lifted this will also hurt the renters down South.

Perhaps this is the time to bite the bullet and buy yourself a small place down south and rent out the rooms to others - just an idea!!

The interest rates have never been lower so money is so cheap right now you just have to make sure you can service the loan.

Down south will have it's day in the sun but just remember you landlords down there if you have a great tenant they are worth their weight in gold so do look after them.
