You know sometimes its hard you go along in your own little bubble with your close friends yes none of our lives are perfect by any stretch but every morning I wake up and I say out loud to myself how grateful I am to be living in Perth. Not only do we have a very beautiful quite normal state but our beaches are a stunning site that I really look forward to every morning as it changes every day.
This week I got a phone call from one of my clients/friend who told me that their partner had suffered a stroke and had a form of brain cancer (yet to be determined). I cant describe to you just how that felt to be honest but it took me down right to the bottom and I simply said I dont even know what to say to that.
Without delving too deeply into it as this week has progressed the prognosis is a lot better than what first thought. Operable and the outcome has a reasonable high percentage of recovery. Thank god for that as my friend is only 44 years old and she has a lot more living and gardening to do yet.
As I say on my video's make someone happy, call someone who is down, tell people that you love them as often as you can - you just dont know what's going on in people's lives and you just dont know what hour will be your last so use your time very wisely.
I am so grateful for:
my family, the beautiful suburb I live in, my home, my work, my work friends, my clients who geniunely care about you and the family, the clean air we breath, our covid state. I honestly could go on and on.
What you should do is create a mind set around that and when you wake up (or perhaps you should do it as you bolt out of bed, the more you lie there the more reasons your brain will tell you not to get up) say out loud what you are currently grateful for you will be surprised at just how much in life we actually have.
Take care.
