RECESSION

 WA is not in a recession says Mark McGowen we are trucking along okay and our business is returning to normal and some businesses have actually growen.

According to the figures the Australian economy has declined by 7 per cent for the June quarter, meaning the country is officially in a recession with two consecutive quarters of negative growth. I dont know why anyone would have thought anything different with what's going on right now but I am pleased that WA is holding up right now.

My fear is that my children's children and their children will be paying for all this in the future as I cannot see how they are going to be able to claw all that money back.

Glad we are in Australia though and not overseas.

NZ is doing pretty well also although my sister down the south island says "Auckland people can stay where they are we dont want them until they are COVID free" she's pretty angry that they are now to move around both islands freely.  See how protective people get when they are free of that virus and they want it to remain that way.
