HOW IS THE MARKET?

 Every day there is the question "how is the market going"?

Remember a few months ago the press were saying that we were going to drop 30% in our property prices due to the coronavirus.

Really !!  What did I say - no way these journalists have the information that we agents on the ground have !!

Prices have altered approximately 1.6% but not all areas have had to adjust their prices.

With this scare tactic type of journalism it has actually reduced amount of properties coming onto the market which now has created a bit of a shortage of properties for sale.

This has caused competition for buyers now so they are now not in the same market where they were three months ago.

We have been listing a few off market and selling them to buyers that have missed out on properties so not all buyers get the opportunity to see the property.

As the market is now changing perhaps that is not entirely the best way to go as how do you actually know if you got the top price the market is prepared to pay.

There are definitely heart buyers out there that will pay the premium for a property as they absolutely just have to have it.  We as agents love these types of buyers.
