I went to the original meeting where Nigel presented his plan to the residents and I felt extremely embarrassed in the treatment that Nigel received from some residents regarding this development. He was trying to go through the development and he was almost shouted down. Nigel kept his composure and carried on I give him 10 points for that.
Nigel has done some extremely good developments that have been a real credit to him and if you wanted to see them google Nigel Oakey.
I for one am extremely excited about this new project as it will breathe some new life into our foreshore and bring the people back in around the area. Also offering some short term accommodation to those visiting Perth will be have the opportunity of staying in a beautiful part of the world. We are sadly lacking places on our side of the river to be honest and with Cottesloe still debating and making yet another plan of redevelopment this will be a welcome change.
Nigels cafe in Peppermint Grove has been extremely well received by everyone and those people that gave it no chance were just proven wrong.
We need development in Perth, we need new things to be introduced we are growing and we need more activities to be available to us all.
Well done Nigel I really look forward to coming down and have a look around once you have finished the development I am sure it will be nothing short of spectacular.
