DOCTORS BLEEDING PATIENTS DRY

Sunday times saying that the Doctors have got together and collaborated a fee schedule of their own and in some cases are a lot more than the scheduled fee.  

I am so lucky that I have never had to do much with Doctors as I am sure that they would need medical protection from me !! 

Its a very sad day when the Doctors forget their oath when becoming a Doctor you are supposed to help people and just not people that can pay up but the ones that cannot either. All I can say is have some heart you greedy Doctors.

To maximise patient rebates, the doctor gives them two bills - one for the health fund that fits within its gap fee limits, and a second "secret" one for thousands of dollars worth of gap fees to be hidden from the fund, which the patient must pay out of their own pocket.

If a Doctor charges more than the AMA fee, they will need to explain to their patients why that is the case.

Make sure you shop it around there are some decent Doctors still out there.
