Driving to meet friends at the Cottesloe Beach Cafe I had to drive around the 3 hour car park three times before some young guys were leaving and indicating that I take their park, fantastic. In comes a car that see's that they are leaving and even though I indicated I was taking it swooped on it, the young driver put his head out the window and just shook his head and put his hands in the air, yes I was a bit cross but hey he probably needed to be closer than what I did so on I went in search for another person leaving.
Finally got one and went inside and had a very enjoyable few hours (must have been longer than the 3 allotted) because when I came outside there was a $100 ticket on my window screen - ah quite an expensive exercise ha ha... Just as well I am a resident of Cottesloe and if that's what they are charging for over time on parking our coffers must be swelling up with money - maybe we can get cheaper rates.!!
I thought Subiaco was bad with their fines I think Cottesloe has taken a leaf out of their book.
Very nice food and wine at Cottesloe Beach Cafe would thoroughly recommend it.
