DONT WHINE TO ME

 All I can say is don't whine to me.

I have warned people for long enough probably over a year now saying that the Perth market cannot stay where it is. Just looking at what Sydney residents are paying and Melbourne, little old Perth was so far behind it's a joke.

Renters of course they are going to whine - they have had it good for so long and the investors have had it stuck to them for so long now that they tables are turning there is a lot of whining going on.

Did people whine when the rents down so low and in some cases the landlords let the renters catch up or gave them a few weeks off when Covid hit us - NO. Did the renters that go behind in their rents and couldn't pay up and the landlord bore the brunt of it all were you whining then - NO.

Let me tell you that the tables have turned and it's not going to stop there are just too many people seeking out the rentals that you are now fighting for them and you have to more than likely pay more than the asking price.

Landlords have had to endure higher interest rates, more rates, more water rates, more strata fees, more costs in keeping the place up to standard as plumbers, electricians and handyman have all put up their prices. This spiral is not stopping I am afraid so batten down and decide where you want to live and be prepared to share the dwelling as now that the one bedrooms are heading closer to that $500 per week its not going to be cheap to live in the Western Suburbs.
