This staffing shortage is very real. Across all industries we are experiencing not being able to get staff. So what does that mean for us. Do we scale down our business so we can cope?
It's increasingly harder to get experienced staff as many property managers have left the industry in their droves since covid happened the have gone out searching for something a lot more easy going and less stressful. (cant say I blame them)
I really feel for our property managers you really have to love your job and love what you do to stay in this industry as you get flak from every direction from tenants, owners of the properties, owners of the business.
Property Managers I have the highest regard for and the utmost respect for you are our real estate hero's..
Hard job and sometimes a very thankless one.
Make sure you appreciate your property manager and give them a review from time to time a gift every now and then doesnt go astray.
We try very hard to get good relationships going between tenants, owners and staff but sometimes the damage is done by harsh words to the property managers, think before you speak.
The shortages are across every industry and the owners of each and every business are getting more frustrated each week. Some businesses are just closing their doors they just cannot cope anymore it's just become way too stressful and hard.
Take care out there and be nice to people as you just dont know what their situation is.
