DO YOU NEED TO RE ASSESSED

With the last interest rate rises do you think that you may need to be re assessed by your bank or your broker?

The banks have still got very tough criteria and you have to tick all their boxes for them to look at you and they are taking their sweet time to assess the loan applications.

My advice to you would be:

• dont be spending on your credit for at least 6 months unless you are paying for groceries and you are paying it off at the end of the month
• dont be using uber and using your credit card thats for rides and for eats
• keep your spending under control
• save as much as you can so the banks clearly see that you are able to save
• dont have an unpaid telstra, gas, water bill it goes against you check to see if you have any outstanding bills

Talk to your broker and make sure you know your limit (without having to eat baked beans for months), be responsible and only borrow what you feel comfortable with even though you could borrow more.
