PERTH'S LOCKDOWN

 Well one person creates a whole lockdown - some are saying it's over kill and others are praising McGowan for keeping us all safe.

Whilst walking in the early hours of the morning I get to hear what people are saying about it all and some of the comments go like this:

The Government has had nearly a full year to prepare for this and yet they have not put everything in place for 24 hour testing, let alone agreed to pay for a much bigger testing facility it was up to those two companies to do it themselves with no Government assistance  - FAIR OR UNFAIR?

The Government should have learnt from the Eastern States and banned all security guards from having a second job, they are only just doing that now - FAIR OR UNFAIR?

Should the Government have locked down suburbs only - FAIR OR UNFAIR?

I really dont know what I think but I see that lockdown hurts the little guy that has been struggling along trying to make ends meet - they cannot seem to get enough workers because of the job keeper still being available to people and yet others are saying it should remain.

I dont believe Perth is in that boat and I believe that Perth is growing at such a fast rate of knots that we need a lot more housing to be provided to be honest and we need people that actually want to work as we dont have enough that do.  Put everyone that is getting a hand out to go and help small businesses out you never know they might actual like the work.

Perth has become the place to live as its one of the safest places in the world to be.

Well every day I thank my lucky stars I have the good fortune to live in Perth and no matter what we have had a great ride through this pandemic that's for sure and I will not whinge about wearing a mask (god knows how you nurses and doctors where them for 7-10 hours a day).

It did feel very surreal walking and seeing everyone masked up something that we are not accustomed to I suppose but you know what if it saves one life I am all for it.  I even have had an orange one made up - thanks to Pauline.
