Hoping you are all keeping well and adjusting to the spring season!
 
I am writing to inform you of some recent updates with regards to the COVID legislation. The WA Government announced recently that the extension of the Emergency Period for the Residential Tenancies (COVID-19 Response) Act 2020 will now be until the 28 March 2021. While our state isn’t impacted with active cases in comparison to the Eastern states, the REIWA body and its associates are rebutting the extension and looking at avenues to exempt our state and allow for our property market growth to continue to increase as it has been in recent times both for sale and for rent.
 
The below link for the COVID-19 REIWA campaign has been implemented for landlords. For us to help make this notion a reality we ask you follow the steps and send a letter to your local MP voting for the emergency period to end in our state allowing our market to continue to grow:
