So many people that I talk to that have moved back to Perth after long stints away say that it takes them a few months to adjust to the almost country lifestyle of Perth compared to London or America where its just flat out all the time.
People just love the weather here (well if it finally stops blowing a gale here though). We tend to forget we are very lucky with our weather here in Perth though its generally pretty good. As we get older I suppose we feel the cold more and think that its freezing here but in actual fact its not, go to NZ, Melbourne etc. that's what I call freezing.
The one thing that I am most appreciative of is our beautiful beaches just so stunning and generally we can use them all year round - well I know a bunch of swimmers do they certainly have my admiration that's for sure.
The only thing with Perth it is pretty spread out so you do need a car if you are going to visit people in the Northern Suburbs or try to get somewhere by train can be difficult.
Our airport has improved but I just wish they would call it International or Domestic that T1 and T2 and T3 thing is so confusing it's pot luck really.
I do wake up every day and bless the fact that we live here in this beautiful place called Perth coupled with all the friends and family 100% lucky.
