So you are thinking about buying a house/apartment/land or whatever some sort of real estate.

You may want to contact your broker/bank (I would say get a good broker) and go through all the hoops you have to go through (can take a while to do this) as the banking criteria has changed a lot.  You will have to tick ALL the boxes not just some anymore for them to give you the big tick and your broker will certainly help you move that along.

Because the banks have gone through a major shake up and are under so much scrutiny now they are not budging on any of the boxes they need to tick.
