It's okay to tell the agent yes you like the home and please follow you up, you can always say no over the phone (a lot easier than in the home open). The trouble is what I find is that the buyers are hesitant to talk to alot of agents - why is that?
I definitely have no problems getting names and numbers infact if you dont give me your name and number you cannot go into the home - this is someone's home you are stepping into and I need to know who you are. People have said to me I dont want to be called so I put dont call and we do respect that.
If you dont allow us to ring you back then obviously the home isnt for you and that's fine but dont miss out on further opportunities.
We do let buyers know where the home is at until they tell us not to ring them as they have moved on from the property.
Once you let me know that you are interested in a property I will definitely keep you updated but bearing in mind the person that has put pen to paper first deserves some action which in our firm they do get immediate attention, so dont play cat and mouse you might just lose the game.
If you like the home then go for it dont wait - what for - competition to arrive on the scene - you think you are going to get it cheaper - we are already cheap !!
Good luck out there in the real estate world but try not to play cat & mouse it never ends well.

Hi Gill,
Love today’s blog. It’s so true, I remember walking into
3 Vic St and immediately loving it and telling you and from that moment it was
‘game on’ you sorted a buyer for a white gum valley and here we are five years
later !
