MOVING IN TO YOUR NEW PLACE

So many people don't think about all the people that need to be notified when you are moving house, it's such a huge thing these days so make yourself a check list and notify them all.

People like:

Banks
Insurance companies
Gas & water companies
Telephone companies
Medicare, HBF or whatever fund you are in
Motor vehicle licensing
Vet's
Doctors
Friends (may sound silly but you somehow expect them to know)
Electoral Commission

Don't forget to re direct your mail for three months to get any of those stragglers you forgot about.

Before you move into your new home if it's an actual house it might be a good time to get your pest treatment done, any painting or remodelling much easier when you are not in the home.

Normally moving from one house to another house everyone moves on the same day so it's not that easy to do.  Hopefully the person moving out before you move in does a good job cleaning it for you.  Most times I have done it one day is dedicated for cleaning as it's never really been done for me, that's why I try to make my buyers move a good experience for them.
