MOVIES - MOUNTAINS & MORE

Well I certainly had a treat when I went to the movies at The Barracks. Very trendy, with amazing restaurants lining the mall. Certainly the Brisbane people are spoilt for choice!!!  Now the movies - you actually can buy a bottle/glass of wine (don't worry, only had one glass) or whatever you want to drink to enjoy during the film. Inside the theatre you have the most unbelievably comfortable seats that I have ever sat on !  Not only that, you have a little table on the arm of your chair to put your drinks on. My goodness! Where is this luxury in Perth besides our Gold Class?  We watched 'The Help' thoroughly can recommend it.

Rained most of the day, but nowhere near as hard as it does in Perth.  Apparently they get more rain here in summer whereas their winter is fairly dry !!!

Last night I went up to the Mt Gravatt lookout and the most amazing view. Very similar to the view you get from Kings Park, but more expansive and more sparkles created with all the lights.  Certainly have enjoyed Brisbane and will look forward to coming back here and seeing more.

Just by the way I bought some shoes that sparkle (how unusual I hear you say)

I would recommend coming to Queensland for a holiday, and if you are a foody you would be in your element.
