There is currently 13,001 properties on the market at the moment with four weeks ago 12,294 the same time 12 months ago there was 8877. The numbers indicate that there is a lot more coming on than is selling, it would suggest that some properties are just listed too high, although there has been a lot of new apartments hitting the market which would boost this number up (in town and Coogee, North Coogee etc).
Properties that were sold this week was 855, 4 weeks ago was 616 and same week last year was 917. Indicating that there was an increase in sales from 4 weeks ago.
Rental properties 4 weeks ago was 6475 12 months ago there was 5036.
Most agencies have been having a good month for last month and this month has started off well as well. We rented our first property this week !! Thank you REIWA the inquiry came off your site.
Make sure your rentals are in top condition as you are competing out there and you need to make it as attractive as possible, if it hasn't rented within the first two weeks adjust the price immediately.
