I have been shopping some clients down at the Leighton Beach development done by Mirvac. Beautiful apartments they are with huge spaces (never to be built again).
The prices that people paid off the plan were obscene and the amount of money they have lost is over a million plus and more in some cases.
The apartments that are now selling around the $1,100,000 mark and are actually very good value for the amount of living spaces etc.
Now there is another development going up once they sell that 65% of them and although a lot smaller in internal space than the Mirvac development will be another complex that will fill that void up. With a new coffee shop opened it might all finally start happening down there.
Certainly appears to be excellent buying down at Leighton at the moment.
MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS AND GIVE IT A REAL GO !!
