Western Australia's independent experts say the opportunity to secure a home with some land near the beach in Perth will soon end.
They say the coastal strip has become an unattainable dream for many, (really you think so?) except for those who plan to snap up what is believed to be one of the last opportunities to own beach-front land in the established township of Two Rocks.
Real Estate Institute of WA President David Airey says communities such as Atlantis Beach, on the Northern Beaches at Two Rocks, will likely be one of the last chances people have to secure a great value house and land package so close to the ocean.
Atlantis Beach has 4 bedroom 2 bathroom family home packages priced from $340,000 to $370,000 for a very substantial, open plan modern beach house on at least a 450 m2 lot.
This is outstanding value when compared to all other coastal projects and established suburbs, particularly because your new home is within 1,500 metres of wide sandy swimming and surfing beaches.
The entry price for a modern, low maintenance 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home on a 225 sqm lot value for first home buyers, retirees and downsizer. Land prices are $190,000 for a 450 m2 lot and $174,000 for a 375 m2 lot.
These house and land packages have effectively smashed the price of housing anywhere on the coast in Metropolitan Western Australia. Beach side living is now attainable for all buyers, young and growing families and it is located just a 30 minute drive to the thriving City of Joondalup.
This is a great alternative for home buyers who dont want to live in a high density areas but prefer to buy a family home with a backyard on the coast. The State Government was moving away from allowing Perth to spread further north or south, opting for urban infill developments instead.
