Speaking with a client the other day and he used the term "hit and run" for the tradespeople or anyone giving people a service.
Basically people stab you for their service without thinking about having a long term working relationship with each other !! What are people thinking - do they not care about forming working relationships with people these days. You will only stab that person once and there will be no referrals or any forthcoming business.
If we ran our business like that we would not get any business in the future.
With the mines shedding workers all over the place you would think people would be bending over backwards to make people want to use their services.
I know WA is wait a while but seriously all trades need to look long and hard at themselves otherwise they just might find themselves out on the street with no job !!
HIT & RUN I like the expression but I don't like the explanation that was given to me.
Seriously when Craig (my ex husband the plumber) came to do a job for a person wether it be Peppermint Grove or Balga they get charged exactly the same price, he never charged them extra because of where they lived, that's why he had a great business all the time, people trusted him.
To all you hit & runners out there take care as it could be you that takes the hit and has to run to find a job.
MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS AND GIVE IT A REAL GO !!
